WiFi in most places, but not at every point of the airport. I'm a pilot and find most airports are almost unusably slow. But now I am noticing the de-prioritized data I think with the lifting of lockdowns and increase of travel. Moved my three phones over on a one year plan. I started mint last fall and really enjoyed the service coming off of TMobile and really appreciated the price. We also have 6 months of $10/line bill credits for COVID relief. I DESERVE a bill credit!!" So we give curiously credits. My phone was hacked!" Or "I've been a long time customer. They would rack up $900 in international calling charges and then turn around and say "I didn't make that. We had to give credits to customers constantly. I spent time working in billing for postpaid and let me tell you. Having to give massive credits to customers. So cell companies have to make up this cost somehow. They must not mind getting their credit messed up. ![]() ![]() Sometimes people just do not pay off their devices on their postpaid accounts. Postpaid is mostly staffed with U.S.-based agents. AT&T Prepaid main customer service is fully staffed with overseas people. I can't speak for T-Mobile, only AT&T on this next one. So they build the phone discounts into postpaid price. Even if a customer trades in an old phone, it usually doesn't fully account for the bill credits they get. At T-Mobile, they give $300-$1,000 off the latest flagships for new lines or by trading in an old phone. Again because almost everywhere I go to in my daily live has network congestion, I think its a fair price to pay for decent data usage.Īgain, Im not mad at Mint Mobile, and personally if you don't use data too often or if you live in a non-crowded area its a great plan, but it just does not fit for me. I looked around and I saw T-mobile prepaid, which seems to not be too expensive (40/mo) and should have priority data when congested. I honestly think its a mix of bad infastructure and just my area, which is Central Florida and is overall pretty crowded in some places. Meanwhile my other friends have 0 issue with T-Mobile. ![]() Basic things like twitter and iMessage even struggle to load, and speedtests wont even run. Anytime Im at my school campus, mall, rush hour etc the data is completely unusable for me. I know its something you have to deal with by going with an MVNO, but honestly for me personally it's something I cant deal with anymore. However one major issue that ive had with Mint is deprioritization in my area. Ive had Mint Mobile for around 2-3 years, and trust me ive saved quite a bit with it compared to going to a bigger wireless company. Note: Im not hating on Mint Mobile at all, they're still a great company and offer great plans for the price
